Returns Policy

We build optics we'd carry ourselves, and we want you to be confident in your purchase. If it's not right, returning it is simple.
30-day returns
You have 30 days from the delivery date to return an optic for a refund. To be eligible, the item must be in original condition — undamaged, with all accessories, packaging, and documentation included.
How to start a return
- Email support@merlinoptics.com with your order number and the reason for the return.
- We'll reply with a return authorization and a prepaid shipping label.
- Pack the item securely and drop it off with the carrier.
Returns on eligible items ship back to us free — we cover the return label.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll process your refund to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post it. Original expedited shipping charges, if any, are non-refundable.
Exchanges
Want a different model? Start a return for a refund and place a new order, or email us and we'll help you swap it directly.
Defective or damaged items
If your optic arrives defective or damaged, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we'll replace it at no cost. Issues that appear later are covered by the Merlin warranty.
Non-returnable items
- Items returned more than 30 days after delivery.
- Items missing accessories, packaging, or documentation.
- Items with damage caused by misuse, accident, or unauthorized modification.
